This consultation on the EU Forest Strategy (COM(2013)659 'A new EU Forest Strategy: for forests and the forest-based sector') was addressed to public local and regional authorities, or their groupings, owning and or/managing forests in the EU. It was run upon the request of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), the European Union's assembly of regional and local representatives.
The main objective of the consultation was to collect local and regional authorities' opinions and experience with regard to implementation and impact aspects of the EU Forest Strategy as well as expectations for its future. Results are aimed to feed into the CoR's contribution to the upcoming mid-term review of the strategy, expected for the second half of 2018.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE PERSONS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE SURVEY!
